The Tiroler Ski Club celebrates its 42nd. year this 2009-2010 season, and continues to strive to offer its membership quality ski experiences combined with the value and camaraderie of group skiing. The club was conceived in 1968 by approximately 12 single men in their mid-twenties. The word "Tiroler" was derived from the "tirol" section of Austria famous for its alpine sports and at the time reflected the German-American background of the original founding members. Within a year the group had grown to sufficient numbers to support day trips on chartered buses. The group has evolved over the years and includes a broad spectrum of ethnic backgrounds and is open to all genders, singles and families.

The club has a unique character, in that they have a very active membership, which results in a large number of familiar faces on all trips and outings. There is a real fellowship in the club because of our member loyalty and low membership turnover. A nucleus of younger men and women who are active skiers has formed and they are asserting themselves to evolve the club so it will flourish far into this century, "Our greatest achievement lies in our members loyalty and camaraderie. Skiing is our main endeavor, but building lasting friendships has become a club tradition."

This is the sixth year of the Tiroler Ski Club website, which is a very useful tool for information, communication, and the continued growth of the club.

Telluride, CO- January 30 - February 6th, We are returning to the site of the EPSC 2006 Winter Carnival, where we had such fond memories. Telluride had the two components of a great trip: a great mountain combined with a great town. We are staying exactly where we stayed in 2006, at the Ice House. It offers a wide variety of upscale hotel rooms, suites, and two and three bedroom condominiums to meet everyone's needs. They also offer a deluxe continental breakfast, and a deluxe happy-hour spread. They are conveniently located a very short walk to the town gondola. The price will be in the mid-1400's and will include air, transfers, room, and lift tickets.
